(One of us clearly hates our arteries more than the other) If you look closely, you can just barely make out my wife's less impressive (imho) Workout Scramble. The second picture, you'll have to forgive me, because I can't remember the name of the dish- but it is a biscuit topped with chicken fried steak, topped with scrambled eggs, smothered in gravy & hashbrowns on the side. The first picture is my 'usual', The Titanic omelet (think everything but the kitchen sink omelet)- with the biscuit & gravy on the side and my wife's 'usual', French toast. **For a late teen/early twenty-something to be cheerful & checked-in to their job that early on a weekend? That is saying something** The managers are always walking around, checking with all of the customers and making sure everything is ok. To me that seems like this is probably a good place to work. The staff has always been super friendly and they always seem to be in great spirits. We always go early on Saturday or Sunday (before 7 a.m.) because they will fill up quickly. They have earned a spot at the top of our list of TOP breakfast spots in KC. Like others, I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.
